Rocketing fuel prices means elderly and young families may struggle to heat their homes as heating is a large part of their spending. Unless homes are insulated, they lose a quarter of heat through roofs and a third through walls.
Cllr Debbie Mason, Portfolio Holder for Environment at Rushcliffe Borough Council says: “I’m delighted to support this important initiative. With the recent increase in energy prices, this is an excellent chance for people to beat these increases, whilst keeping warm”.
Warmstreets also offer good deals on renewable products, external wall insulation, replacing boilers and changing energy supplier. Call 0800 043 9569 (0333 577 9569 from mobiles) to find out more or visit www.warmstreets.co.uk. Insulation will be fitted by Apex Carbon Solutions.
