Energy Assessor
Apex Carbon Solutions, in association with its local authority partners, runs energy efficiency campaigns called 'Warmstreets'. Your role will be as an energy efficiency advisor visiting residents' homes with the local authority backing to carry out surveys for loft and cavity wall insulation and to capture additional data in the form of energy surveys and other services to include renewable energy in readiness for our commitment to the Green Deal.
Full training is given - so experience in a similar role whilst preferred is not essential - but as this role will involve calling at customers' homes some experience in a sales or canvassing role may be advantageous. You will however be required to have a full driving licence and your own transport. You will work in and around the area for which you apply, and there are several areas available for successful applicants.

Insulation Installer (not currently recruiting)
We require installers with proven experience to join our team. You will be required to visit residents' homes and fully insulate their loft area as part of our 'Warmstreets' commitment.
In anticipation of the Green Deal you will work toward the fitting of PhotoVoltaic panels onto residents' roof space (experience in this not necessary at this stage). This position is salaried as we are looking for quality workmanship in every instance.
