Supporting the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Local Authorities Energy Partnership
Apex Carbon Solutions have successfully developed a business model which encompasses both surveying and installation capabilities. We have teams of experienced surveyors, installers and quality inspectors throughout the country which enables to us to be a one stop shop for our customer.
Many local authorities have signed up to our 'Warmstreets' campaign because of our commitment to service standards, our quality of work and our high levels of customer service. In July 2011 we were awarded the contract to improve energy efficiency ratings of private domestic households in the East Midlands by the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Local Authority Energy Partnership. This will see us deliver insulation measures, renewable technologies and replacement heating systems to homes in the area as well as delivering energy advice and signposting to residents.
Our aim is to help everybody we can in insulating their homes and to deliver energy saving advice to everyone we meet on the way. We can help deliver savings through effective insulation and advice to lower fuel bills by optimizing tariffs.
Reducing energy consumption in the home can lead to a range of important benefits both for the household itself and wider society.
For the individual household the rewards are clear: using less energy can save hundreds of pounds a year and improve warmth and comfort levels. This is something we can all appreciate, but is particularly important for those living in fuel poverty.
For wider society, reducing energy consumption will be essential for us to play our part in mitigating the worst effects of climate change and to ensure we have secure and stable energy supplies.
